Tips from the River
Tiny Fly? Add An Indicator!
Don’t let the name fool you—indicators aren’t just for nymph rigs. When fishing tiny dry flies (think size 20 and up) it can be difficult to track your fly on the water. Many experienced anglers add a small indicator six inches or so above their primary fly, helping to track the fly and detect even the smallest of strikes they might never otherwise see.

It is no secret that many parts of Colorado are experiencing low and hot water earlier in the summer season than in most years.
The good news is that the crew at Anglers All is an adventurous one, and there is still great water and great fishing to be had this summer.
Our staff has been exploring the Colorado high country as well as a few tailwater sections of the South Platte that are experiencing good flows and cold water. Add in a few trips to the Green River in Utah and some warmwater carp and bass missions in the Denver metro area and we are charging hard through the summer.
